Hi! I am Ingrid, an illustrator from the Netherlands. I have a big green heart and a sharp eye for detail. I get my inspiration from the small, daily things in life. In my work those tiny happy moments come to live in the most colorful and vivid scenes. Themes like nature, flora & fauna, seasonal living, sustainability, gardening, travels and daily life are common themes in my work. Being a creator at heart, I am happy to do what I love most: making images, telling short stories and communicating with an audience. To me every illustration is an adventure in which small stories can be told with funny characters, surprising details and sometimes a more emotional layer. But whatever the message or purpose, my illustrations always have a lighthearted or positive note. Therefore my work is accessible, widely applicable and used for editorial work, books, brands and products. I also have a big love for educational and kids projects. I specialize in a combination of both hand drawn and digital illustrations. Details, warm color palettes and textures are key to my work, there is always a handmade feel to my work.
