Julie Tozzi

My name is Julie, I live in Limoges, a small town in France. I am a librarian, specialized in the comic book section. I used to draw a lot when I was younger, I studied in a high school in Applied Arts section and then I studied comics in Angoulême. At the end of my studies, I became a librarian to earn my living, because I had the opportunity to discover this job with a summer job during my studies...and it's really a great job! Choosing the comics we're going to buy, advising readers on comics... But I missed drawing and I wanted to try digital illustration. I bought a graphic palette at the end of 2020 and I loved it. I've been drawing every day since then and started the Instagram account @julieetozzy (Ozzy is one of my cats!).
<br><br> I'm still figuring out my style, trying things out. My favorite thing to do is play with colors and textures, and shoot portraits. Faces are my favorite subject to illustrate! I am inspired by many things, it can be an illustrator seen on Instagram, a book, a movie, a photo or a detail in the street. I try to stay curious!
