Belén Diz Juncal
Belén Diz Juncal is an illustrator dedicated to consuming pens, grating on paper countless realities that seek to complete her own. His work encompasses different themes and disciplines, among which the idea of childhood, the body and the home as a refuge stand out, in which it is intended to represent that space that makes us feel safe through scenes where the body itself, the gaze and the context reflects an imaginary built from memories, sensations and feelings. Her intention is to bring to the present that refuge of childhood that in maturity is unattainable from an approach to the intimacy of the subjects portrayed, extracting those specific moments from the private sphere and memory to make them something tangible.
