Coraline Astier

My name is Coraline, I'm 31 years old, I'm a mother, a self-taught illustrator, a tattoo artist and I also work in a florist's shop. Drawing (and art in many other forms) is a passion that has been passed on to me by my parents since I was little.
I use a lot of different media. A little less at the moment due to lack of time. In addition to drawing and tattooing, I like embroidery, cross-stitching, weaving, modeling, photography. I like to customize all kinds of objects found or collected in nature.
I draw and paint on paper, canvas, wood, glass, ceramics... anything that comes to hand and inspires me. I most often use watercolor, acrylic, gouache, colored pencils, Posca (acrylic markers). I prefer 1000 times the paper illustration to the digital one. I got a tablet 3 or 4 years ago, it was to prepare my tattoo projects more easily. Today I use it more often for everything, because I have to admit that it saves me a lot of time, space and organization with my schedule (and to work in front of Netflix on the couch!)
