Jillian Wakeman

Hi there! I'm Jillian Wakeman, an illustrator from Minnesota which is in the United States.  

I'm a self taught digital and traditional artist. I like to do printmaking, drawing, pottery, and occasionally painting. I've been drawn to art since as long as I can remember. I illustrate for a children’s book, and for my own projects.  

I'm inspired by the beauty of other artist’s projects and the complexity of human nature. I like to meet new people, and with each person I meet, I become inspired to apply their energy into my drawings. In my art, I try to depict a sense of excitement and belonging, no matter who I draw.
