Marina Halak

Marina Halak is a children's and young adult book illustrator based in Germany.

Inspired by her own childhood, children, nature, magical moments and fairytales. If she doesn't draw (rarely), she enjoys spending time with her husband, tries to teach her dog to speak, travels, collects picture books and magical beautiful things, cooks and reads books.

Marina's life motto is - Dream big and work for it.

Born in a small ukrainian village, she always felt like she could do something more than just live for herself and do an average job. After a many years of studying architecture and later working as an architect, she decided finally to dedicate her life to illustration.

Now Marina is a successful illustrator and works with many clients worldwide.
