Sophie Cousinié

Sophie Cousinié studied theater, literature and anthropology. During her studies, she trained her eye by writing and filming. Her imagination, still very present, offers an unusual style of figurative drawing. She started to perform drawings and paintings in primary school and improved her style through life experiences. Today, she is making drawing as a living. Her drawings, handmade with ink and watercolors represents ordinary life situations, humans and animals portraits. She is used to exhibit her creations and to showcase her talent at events such as « Live Drawing » in France (Paris, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Normandy) and in England (Shropshire). She performs in hotels, hospitals, cafes, restaurants, concept stores and galleries. Her work finds a place in publishing, books illustrations and covers, kids press, horses textbooks, feminist magazines and for private orders.
